My name is Kris, and I've lived here on Tellico Farm since 2004.  Horses have been a part of my life

for over 30 years.  I've been an avid trail rider, professional riding instructor, and a polo player.

I manage all aspects of the farm along with my partner Nick, and our Great Dane Brutus.

My approach to horsekeeping is to allow them to live in accordance with their nature,

in a small herd with 24/7 access to forage, fresh water, and space to roam. 

I think horses are happier, healthier and easier to work with when kept this way.

The farm is a quiet refuge from busy everyday life.
